Smoosh
I'm listening to an indie band from Seattle *sigh* and I'm lovin' them! They're two sisters, one on drums the other on keyboard/vocals and their sound is great! Also their lyrics are really good particularly since they're only in their teens (13 &14? respectively)! I'm listening to their sophmore album Free to Stay and I'm very impressed and have those hee-bee gee-bee feelings you get from melodies and vocals that just hit the right chords in my soul; you know what I mean. All this to say is check them out, at the very least on myspace, and you won't be disappointed.
What do people think about?
I've always wondered what goes on in peoples' heads through out the day. It amazes me when I listen to people talk and I get an insight to what goes on in their mind. I'm not talking about the day-to-day stuff like paying bills and where to eat. But, I'm talking about stuff that helps make a person's personality. Whether it be the NBA playoffs, Paris being booed at a Dodger game, or the impending showdown between the Executive and Legislative branches something has to fill the minds of people when they're not talking. And, what does that say about someone?
I think of myself as a "thinker." Because my life revolves around Jesus and His plans for my life all that I observe is from the Biblical perspective that I've cultivated up to this point. I love to think about politics, art, sports, education, pop culture and the sort. I'm a student of human behavior, hence my psychology background, and I can't get enough analyzing of the world I live in. Constantly my mind is trying to figure out how what I read in scripture relates and can improve all that I see. How does God's priciples apply to teaching how to think? Re-reading this I'm thinking, "Man, I'm religious." But it's not as bad as I think. I realized that it's because of the wisdom of God that has allowed me to understand my world and that wisdom orginiates in His scriptures.
What do people think about? Do they seek to understand the world? Are they asking the right questions? Or, are their thoughts just...there?

My First
I am realizing more and more how much I want to write and have others glean from it. I'm hoping this will be my vehicle for great things. At least I hope to use this to refine my writing skills for later use. We'll see. Not too sure where I want to take this blog but if anything it'll be my haven for vomitting my thoughts onto electronic paper for the world to see. So if you're reading this please come back and leave me comments, critiques, accolades, quips, snide remarks. Anything! Lates!
